The CEO of THEA, Dr Joseph Ryan stated, “the Institutes of Technology are keenly aware that this year’s examination candidates face unprecedented challenges and this will naturally occasion concern. All assessment approaches have been recalibrated to ensure the maintenance of standards and also to ensure that students can have the comfort that no one will be disadvantaged or unnecessarily delayed as a result. Our institutions are sympathetic to the potential for inequality in these circumstances and effective mitigations will be in place.
