International students in the technological higher education sector
There are more than 4,000 full-time International students enrolled in the technological higher education sector in Ireland, including more than 600 EU nationals and almost 3,500 international non-EU citizens. Almost 400 part-time international students are also enrolled in the technological higher education sector, with almost 1,700 Erasmus outgoing students and more than 6,000 incoming Erasmus student. The international student cohort comprises more than 100 countries and our key non-EU partner countries include China, Malaysia, Oman, Saudi-Arabia, India, Canada, Kuwait, USA, Nigeria and Brazil.
