
A delegation from South African Technology Network visited THEA today to kick off their tour of Ireland's technolgoical higher education sector.
The delegation included:
• Prof Lourens van Staden, Vice-Chancellor: Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and Chairperson of the South African Technology Network (SATN)
• Dr Chris Nhlapo, Vice-Chancellor: Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT)
• Prof Thandwa Mthembu, Vice-Chancellor: Durban University of Technology (DUT)
• Prof Duma Malaza, Vice-Chancellor: Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT)
• Prof Thoko Mayekiso, Vice-Chancellor: University of Mpumalanga (UMP)
• Prof Prof Alfred Ngowi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research, Innovation and Engagement, Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT)
• Dr Anshu Padayachee, Chief Executive Officer, South African Technology Network (SATN)
• Mrs Christelle Venter, South African Technology Network (SATN)
While in Ireland they will visit TU Dublin (DIT and Tallaght campuses); Waterford IT, CIT, LIT, and GMIT
