Trialling Visual Learning Techniques For Practical Construction Stage Solutions

The key deliverables are to establish a tried and tested method of converting current theoretical learning experiences in design to a practical hands-on application of design

The key deliverables are to establish a tried and tested method of converting current theoretical learning experiences in design to a practical hands-on application of design combined with practical experience, visualisation through Augmented Reality, as a more modern means of construction clash understanding and detection.

This will enable students to become familiar with and critically analyse the use of Augmented Reality tools as a potential solution to proactively detect design/construction clashes within their design solutions by a more visual way of learning.

An outcome will be the enhancement of the student experience beyond the static and theoretical 3D model designs.
