Women in sport go beyond the female athlete; they include sports scientists, academics, executives and more. The underrepresentation of women in sport parallels that of STEM fields at large.

Therefore, this project aims to raise the profile of women in sport and narrow the gender gap in STEM careers by empowering undergraduate women in the Department of Sport and Health Sciences.

This project will provide undergraduate women with opportunities to connect with and be mentored by women thriving in STEM fields, as it sets out to improve the pipeline of female talent and leaders in sport and STEM careers.
