This project aims to reduce cigarette butt and vaping waste in Tallaght Village and the TU Dublin Tallaght Campus.

TU Dublin students will work with the local Tallaght Village Tidy Towns group, to identify and quantify the location of such waste, participate in clean-ups, and propose, implement and evaluate solution(s) for reducing waste.

Students will contribute competencies from areas such as engineering, marketing, science, arts, project management, advertising, business, video promotion,  report production and other areas.

The Tidy Town Group has worked with the National Learning Network, local schools, businesses and industry and the students may form links with these and other groups.
