Improving the student experience of asynchronous online mathematics support through student-staff partnership

The aim of this project is to improve student experience, and hence engagement, with our Asynchronous Maths support module, ‘Maths online’. 

The aim of this project is to improve student experience, and hence engagement, with our Asynchronous Maths support module, ‘Maths online’. 

Previous research on our Asynchronous Maths supports has found that while the resources on the Maths support module are of high quality, students have difficulty finding the resources which are most relevant and timely for them. 

Research clearly highlighted the need to streamline the navigation within the module and make it easier for students to use. This in turn will lead to improved engagement and success for students in Mathematics modules.
