Co-Design Of A Sustainable Framework To Integrate Capture The Flag (Ctf) As Part Of The Teaching, Learning And Assessment Of An Undergraduate Computing Programme

The key aims and structure of this project are: 

  1. An initial study to explore student perceptions of learning and teaching assessment via CtF, in order to inform further research in the domain; 
  2. Examine problem-based learning and authentic assessment as experienced through CtF type exercises/events; and 
  3. The final step is to incorporate this insight and form an inclusive student/lecturer team to co-design a sustainable framework to integrate CtF into an undergraduate computing programme. 

It is envisioned that steps 1-2 will take place in sequence from April 2023 - Feb 2024 and step 3 will take place from March 2024 to October 2024, with full implementation of the co-designed system scheduled for December 2024.
