Our member institutions, the Institutes of Technology, are working to ensure that students can return to their learning experiences safety next month. The learning experience has had to change necessarily, in order to ensure safety for students and staff during a global pandemic. That change has brought about many challenges in terms of the use of physical space, infrastructure, and technology. Modifications have been made to physical infrastructure and significant technological solutions have had to be sourced in order to enable a hybrid system of in-person and online blended learning. The grant allocation will greatly enable many of these infrastructural and technological modifications to be made in order to ensure, as much as possible, a safe return for teachers and learners in September.
